Vestibular Disorders: Advances in Diagnostic Technology and Neurorehabilitation

This chapter provides a comprehensive review of recent progress in vestibular diagnostics, including video head impulse testing, vestibular evoked myogenic potentials, and high-resolution MRI characterisation of endolymphatic hydrops. It surveys advances in the understanding and management of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, Ménière disease, vestibular migraine, and superior semicircular canal dehiscence, with dedicated attention to evidence-based vestibular rehabilitation and the emerging role of pharmacological vestibular suppressants and intratympanic therapies.
