Cardiac Emergencies: From Acute Coronary Syndromes to Resuscitation Science

This chapter integrates contemporary evidence on acute coronary syndrome risk stratification, high-sensitivity troponin pathways, and revascularisation timing with a comprehensive review of recent advances in cardiac arrest resuscitation, including dispatcher-assisted CPR, mechanical chest compression devices, extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR), and targeted temperature management in post-arrest care.
