Nanomedicine and Drug Delivery Systems: Advances in Targeted and Controlled Release Pharmacology

This chapter reviews recent innovations in nanoparticle-based drug delivery, including liposomal, polymeric, dendrimer, and inorganic nanocarrier systems, with emphasis on tumor-targeted and organ-selective delivery strategies.
