Spondyloarthropathies: Updated Classification, Imaging Biomarkers, and Biologic Therapies

This chapter reviews the spectrum of spondyloarthropathies including axial spondyloarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and reactive arthritis, incorporating the most recent updates to classification criteria and imaging-based assessment of axial and peripheral inflammation. The chapter critically evaluates the expanding evidence base for IL-17A inhibitors, IL-23 inhibitors, and JAK inhibitors, and explores unmet therapeutic needs in non-radiographic axial SpA and enthesitis-predominant disease.
