This chapter synthesizes recent advances in vaccine development, including mRNA platform technology, adjuvant innovation, and novel delivery systems such as intradermal and thermostable formulations. It reviews evidence on vaccine immunogenicity, durability of protection, and the science of herd immunity in heterogeneous populations.
